God’s Only Limitation

We are the only limitation God has.   It’s up to us.  Many are hoping and praying and waiting for God to do something.  The truth is God is waiting for us to do something.  God does not have to do anything else…. He has already done it.  Everything that needs doing or will ever need doing…. He has already done.

The only limitation in the life of any believer is the believer himself.   I remember a statement made by Pogo in his comic strip years ago…He said,  “We have met the enemy  and he is us.”   Some are praying and believing and fasting and seeking and worrying and weeping and repenting and trying desperately to get what God has already given them.  And they become their own enemy by ignorantly failing to take by faith what God has already provided.

God has made everything we need available.  He has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:  Eph 1:3

He has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness…

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:  2Pe 1:3
