God has restored to the believer that which Adam lost

Notice:

  • Righteousness: right standing with God
  • The Image of God in complete perfection
  • Authority and dominion over the earth and all life forms on earth
  • Communion and Fellowship with the Father
  • Perfect and perpetual health
  • Prosperity: Adam had no needs that were not met
  • Protection: Adam never had an accident or suffered a loss

The believer has the same privileges and rights that Adam had and enjoyed before he sinned!  After Jesus conquered death, satan’s legal right to rule over the believer was destroyed.  satan now has no legal right to touch any believer.    Whatever satan succeeds in doing to the believer he does through deception and lies.  If you know your legal rights and privileges, you can always conquer satan.

If you are born again take a look at what is in you:

  • The Life of God: Zoe
  • The Love of God: Agape
  • The Faith of God
  • The Holiness of God
  • The Creative Power of God
  • The Goodness of God
  • The Mercy of God
  • The Forgiveness of God
  • The Generosity of God
  • The Patience of God
  • The Power – Ability – Authority – Right of God
  • The Optimism of God
  • The Truth of God
  • The Justice of God
  • The Honesty and Integrity of God
  • The Compassion of God
  • The Strength of God
  • The Joy and Gladness of God

If you are Saved, you are a New Creation, If you are a New Creation you have all New Creation Privileges… and you have them right now.

They are yours.

And they are yours forever

Peter’s Personal Pentecost.

Peter experienced a Personal Pentecost in Acts Chapter 2 and preached the most powerful sermon recorded in the Bible.

  • Here is the man who was ashamed of Jesus before his Personal Pentecost.
  • Here is the man who constantly gave in to discouragement and defeat before his Personal Pentecost.
  • Here is the man who was impetuous, always losing his temper, cursing and ready to fight. Here is the man who at one time even denied he knew Jesus.
  • Here is the man who was content to go back to mending nets, fishing and paddling boats.

Peter, the fisherman, became Peter the Superman.  It was his Pentecost Experience that made the difference.  And, my friend, it is exactly that that will make a difference in you.  In your home.  In your marriage.  In your job.  In your weakness.   In your life.   Notice what Peter preached:

  • He preached about the Last Days.
  • He preached about the Outpouring of the Holy Ghost.
  • He preached about the Great and Notable Day of the Lord.
  • He preached about Incarnation, Birth and Ministry of Jesus.
  • He preached about the Crucifixion.
  • He preached about Jesus descending into hell.
  • He preached about the Resurrection.
  • He preached about the Exaltation of Jesus.
  • He preached that Jesus is LORD and MESSIAH.

This kind of preaching does things.  It produces results.  It shakes the unshakable and moves the unmovable.  It pierces the darkness and blinds the devil.  It cannot be ignored.  It cannot be resisted.  It is born of the Holy Ghost and sent forth by the Holy Ghost and anointed with the Holy Ghost.  Human hearts melt in the presence of such preaching.  Pride goes.  Ego goes.  Sin goes.  Timidity goes.  Shyness goes.  Embarrassment goes.   Holy Ghost preaching makes things happen.

Impossible things.

Hopeless things.

Incurable things.

God has given us weapons.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds, Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ…    2Cor 10:4-6

They are mighty weapons armed with the Power of God and are able to pull down demonic strongholds  … they are not carnal and they are not natural … they are Supernatural and they are efficient, effective and they work.

They are given to every believer so that every believer might overcome the attacks of the enemy. These weapons are for warfare. They are not for vacation. They are for pulling down and destroying and they are to be used.

The reason we have these weapons is that we might overcome the powers of darkness…. that we might stop the devil. If we do not use them, they will not work, and we will not stop him.  If we do not exercise them, we will not break through nor overcome his attacks.

God gave them. God gave them to Believers. God gave them to Believers in order that Believers might confirm what Jesus did to satan.

Jesus destroyed the works of the devil. Those works are still destroyed. The Bible says that

to as many as received Him to them gave He power to become…  John 1:12.

You have the power and authority to become whatever God has purposed for you to become.

This is why Paul says… “I can do all things though Christ…”

So can you

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  Matt. 7:7

A test for your request:

  • What is your motive? Why do you want it?
  • Is it what you need or what you want?
  • Is it the Will of God? Are you sure?
  • What will you do with it once you receive it?
  • Who will benefit from what you get?

If what you are believing for passes the test…. Write your need down so that you can see it.

Then See it until you SEE it.

Here are some practical suggestions:

  • Keep the Word focused on your need.

Find the scriptures that speak to your situation.  Write them down.  Keep them before your eyes.  Meditate them.

  • See what you are believing for (even before it comes).

Take heed (blepo: see, discern, to turn the eyes to, to look at, )  what you hear, with what measure you mete, it shall be measured to you; and to you that hear shall more be given. For he that hath (the Word) to him shall be given, and he that hath not (the Word), from him shall be taken even that which he hath And He said, So is the kingdom of God… Mark 4:24-26.

  • Be willing to wait.

And let us not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap if we faint not…  Gal 6:9

  • Rejoice and Praise God for the Answer before it comes.

“IT is finished!”  It is done. It is settled. It is established. It is accomplished. It is MINE.

  • God says so.
  • The Word declares it.
  • I believe it.

Therefore I will be glad and rejoice in it.

I will praise Him.

I will worship Him.

I will thank Him.

Ask and you shall receive

Christ hath…

Christ hath (past tense) redeemed us from the curse of the law… that the blessings of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ (Gal. 3:13; 29)

  • The Believer is redeemed from the curse of the Law.
  • The Believer is redeemed from Guilt and Condemnation.
  • The Believer is redeemed from Sickness and Disease.
  • The Believer is redeemed from Failure and Poverty.
  • The Believer is redeemed from satan’s control and dominion.
  • The Believer is redeemed from the penalty of sin (hell).
  • The Believer no longer lives under the law of sin and death but has been redeemed and empowered to live by the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. (Rom. 8:2)

“Redeemed” means purchased or ransomed in order to set free.  Therefore, the Believer is a Purchased Possession of the Father.   We are bought with the Precious Blood of His Dear Son Jesus Christ.

And we belong to and are the property of God.  We are literally God’s Possession, God’s Dwelling and God’s Building.

For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.  1 Cor 3:9

Proper Praying

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Matt. 21:22

When we meet the condition of these verses we do not even have to question the possibility of our prayers being answered.  It is ALWAYS God’s will to answer any prayer that is prayed in faith for anything that is covered by the promises of God.

It is the Will of God for you and me to get what we pray for.  And we will  IF we abide in Him and His Words abide in us.  As long as you and I are in harmony with the Word of God we will not ask one thing that the Word forbids.

There are absolutely no limitations to what Believers can receive from God according to His Promises.  It is tragic that many of God’s Children are easily satisfied with falling short of so many good things of this life when they could enjoy  a super abundance.

We have settled down to a level far below what God has provided.  We have accepted a “hit or miss” and a “hope so” approach to our praying.  We have been satisfied with far less than what God has fully promised.  The Grace of God is frustrated any time we accept less than that which God has freely given us.

I do not frustrate the grace of God…  Gal. 2:21

The Word Became Flesh.

Today, the whole world recognizes and celebrates the Miracle of the Ages.  Nothing in time or eternity can match the significance of what happened on a Judean hillside nearly 2000 years ago.

All of time has been divided into “before” and “after” because of this Divine Visitation.  Jesus came.  Jesus came from heaven.  Jesus was sent by God into the earth.  He came in the form of flesh and was born of a virgin.  This had never happened before and it will never happen again.

This is the Miracle of the Ages.  God became Flesh.

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.  John 1:14

The Incarnation is the most significant, awesome and overwhelming work of God since the Creation of all things.  It (the Incarnation) is the crowning achievement of the Work of God and is the most complete expression and revelation of His Nature and Character.

This is the Real Meaning of Christmas
