Meeting with God.

When Moses met God on Sinai, the meeting nearly blew the top of the mountain off.

When Elijah met God on Mt. Carmel, a Fire Storm fell from heaven, licked up trenches filled with water and announced that God answers by Fire.

When Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego met God in the fiery furnace they survived unscathed (through a seven-times-hotter furnace than ever) and Jesus came and celebrated with them.

When Solomon met God in the New Temple, the power of God was so great that every priest and every singer and every worshipper could not stand on their feet.

When Jesus the Man met God at Calvary, thunder came and darkness fell and a great earthquake shook all of Jerusalem… even the graves were opened and the dead walked among the living.

When the 120 met God in the upper room, tongues of fire fell, sounds like a howling hurricane blew through the house and they all began to speak in tongues.

When the church in Acts had a prayer meeting the place was “shaken.”

These trail-blazing Saints encountered God and the encounter was significant.  It was noticed.  Something happened.

When we Encounter God…. Something happens.  Something that cannot be unnoticed.

Something significant.  Something supernatural.  Something life-changing.

We are suffering loss because we have allowed suffering to happen.

Every defeat and every spiritual failure is the result of our laziness, our ignorance, our stupidity or our rebellion.

satan moves in when he is not resisted.  satan stays when we draw back and let him stay.   satan sets up housekeeping when we give place to him.  satan builds strongholds when we do not fight back.  satan cannot do what he is not allowed to do.

Our spiritual condition is precisely what we have allowed it to become.  We can fuss and cuss about the government about world conditions about immorality and crime and ungodliness… we can criticize and complain but what IS is what we as the Body of Christ have allowed to be.

God has equipped us and supplied us with every effective and offensive weapon to stop the devil and drive out demons and take back what hell has stolen… the problem is we have grown fat and lazy and we have crawled into our recliners and gone to sleep.

And while we slept the enemy came and invaded.  Now it is time to attack.  It is time to declare our independence from the powers of darkness… it is the hour to move into the territory of the devil… to charge the gates of hell and demand a refund.  With interest.

Just go ahead and do it.

People want to see Jesus.

The world is tired of seeing Church and Performance and Form and Custom.  They want to see Jesus.  I want to see Jesus.  Jesus has been buried under Religion and the traditions of men and doctrines that have sanitized God and ripped the miraculous out of the Bible.

People are tired of Professional Preachers and Social clubs called churches.     We have kept Jesus covered and hidden by our veneer of hypocrisy.  What we do speaks louder than what we say.  Who we really are is often not what people see.

It is not great preaching that is needed or great preachers…not bigger churches or better facilities…. People need to see Jesus.  People want to see Jesus.  People must see Jesus.  When Jesus is welcomed in our churches… crowds will follow.  Because where Jesus is… God is.  And were God is… the devil isn’t.

And Jesus draws crowds…  not gimmicks, contests, covered dinners, homecomings, band concerts, or free pizza.  It is JESUS that people want to see and it is JESUS that people need.

Only Jesus can change your situation.  Only Jesus can bring you into Victory Living.  Only Jesus can deliver you and make you free.  Only Jesus can satisfy the hunger in your heart.

Only Jesus can give you LIFE.  (John 10:10)

satan is fighting.

But he is fighting the God in you.  So he is fighting a can’t-win battle.

he is defying the God Who lives in you.  This is the reason the devil hates you… you are where God is.  When he sees you he sees God.  When he sees you coming he thinks God is coming.  He hates God and defies God and is terrified of God.

David realized this in his confrontation with Goliath.  He declared:  “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the Living God?”  He did not see a giant.  He saw an opportunity.  He did not say that Goliath was defying the armies of Saul or the armies of Israel… but instead, the armies of the LIVING GOD.

Now, Who is the Champion?  Who is the Stronger One?  Who is the Victorious One?   It is God Who lives in you.  If He wins, you win.  If He can’t lose, you can’t lose.  If He overcomes, you overcome.

If satan is defying the God in you he is also defying the Word of God in you.   The Word has always been the enemy of satan.  The Word busted him and kicked him out of heaven.   The Word “bruised” his head.  The Word keeps him at bay.  The Word continually destroys all his “works.”

Whatever the devil will ever do, can be undone by the Word of God.  Whatever is planned and programmed by the devil can be prevented by the Word of God.

It is the Word that defeats the devil.  satan cannot stand against the Word.  Jesus used the Word on the devil and the devil left Him.  “It is written…” is what Jesus declared to the devil on the mount of temptation.

And the devil gave up and left

Be Thankful.

Be filled with Praise.  Because God has done, is doing and will continue to do Great Things.  He is worthy of our praise and He is worthy of our Worship.

The Word declares that we are to be Thankful unto Him and we are to Praise His Name.

  • Praise will perfect our faith.
  • Praise will under gird our faith.
  • Praise will activate our Faith.
  • Praise is a demonstration of our Faith.

When we Praise, we believe.  Praise rises out of believing with the heart and all that is within us.  Praise happens when we are confronted with the overwhelming greatness of God.

The rationale behind Praise comes from remembering.  Remembering God’s Intervention and Blessing in the Past….  from experiencing His constant and consistent Presence in the present and from believing and expecting His glorious Promises of things yet to come in the future.

Now, what are we to Praise God for?

Praise Him for what He has done for you….

  • He has made you Righteous.
  • You are continually being conformed to the Image of Jesus Christ.
  • Sin has no control over you.
  • The devil is defeated as far as you are concerned.
  • You are blessed and prospering.
  • Signs, wonders and miracles are for you and for today.
  • You are healed, whole, well and not sick.
  • The Best is yet to come…. His Glory is yet to be fully revealed in you.
  • Heaven is real and Eternal Life is a fact.
  • The Best yet to be.

Praise Him

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.  Eph 3:19

I believe the “fullness of God” has to do with the Righteousness of God.  Righteousness is the force, the energy and the power of being “Just Right” with God….   Justified:   (“Just-as-if-I’d” never sinned).

When we receive Jesus by faith, we receive the Righteousness of God.  When we are Born Again, we are born OUT OF our sin nature and INTO the Righteous nature of God.

On the Cross, Jesus exchanged His righteous nature for our sin nature.  He became what we were in order that we might become Who He is.  When we make Jesus Lord of our lives we are born out of our sin nature and into the righteous nature of God.  We are not a person with two natures, but we are NEW, having never existed before.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.     All things that are now in us are from God… 2 Cor 5:17- 18

What was before… the sin nature, darkness, lack of power, sin, poverty and lack, failure and frustration… is dead. Stone Cold Dead.  (So don’t be guilty of resurrecting this old dead nature).

Jesus has bought back and brought back what Adam lost… and MORE.

Jesus became what we were in order that we might be Who He is.

What a deal

The Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure.

Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.  Mt 13:44

Treasure is priceless.   No treasure on earth can compare with Treasure that can be found in the Kingdom of Heaven.

We get into this Field of Treasure when we get Born Again.  God plants us in His Treasure Field when we get saved.  All saved people are able to discover priceless and life-saving treasures God has provided in His Kingdom.   It is sad that many Believers are living with Treasures all around and are still spiritually poor.

Spiritual poverty is marked by lack, need, sickness, disease, demon oppression, worry, fear, unhappiness, depression and every wicked and vile thing that comes out of hell to hurt God’s People.  I want you to dig down and discover some treasures God has provided for you.

These “treasures” will change your life.  They will give you a new perspective.  They will move you into a different dimension.  Most everything that is really important in life has come through these simple discoveries.  They have kept me alive.  They have saved my household from disaster time and time again.  They have preserved the ministry.  They have kept us through every storm.  They have given us the ability to defeat the devil and overcome hell.  They have proven God and tested the Word.

These Treasures and hidden to many.  As we live in the Kingdom of heaven here on earth, I challenge you to discover these treasures and cash them in.  If you do, you will live and not die!

  • The Treasure of Redemption
  • The Treasure of Forgiveness
  • The Treasure of the Anointing
  • The Treasure of Freedom
  • The Treasure of Healing and Wholeness
  • The Treasure of Having all your needs met
  • The Treasure of Assurance
  • The Treasure of Victory and Power
  • The Treasure of Peace and Rest

Confident of our Covenant.

When bad things happen to good people… what is the explanation?  We understand that we are living in a world that is staggering under the curse of sin.  We are daily subjected to the forces of evil and the powers of darkness.  However, when we are Confident of our Covenant we move into a place of divine protection.  The evil may come and the destruction may be around us, but our Faithful Covenant-Keeping Heavenly Father is with us and will deliver us through every fiery furnace and every den of lions.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. Isa 43:2

Our deliverance and our protection is contingent on just how confident we are in the Covenant.

Are we 100% confident?  Then we are provided with 100% protection.  Are we 75% confident?  Then we are provided with 75% protection.   Are we 50% confident?  Then we only have 50% protection.

Our protection from evil and our deliverance from destruction is dependent on the level of our Trust.  Our Confidence.  Our Faith.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 1Jo 5:4

Word principles

And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.  Matt. 21:22

IF we will apply Word Principles to the affairs of our lives, there will be increase and abundance.  Guaranteed.  Not just materially, but emotionally, physically and spiritually as well.  There are some Strong Guarantees and some incredible promises given to us (who believe) in the Word.  When we exercise these promises and activate these provisions by our faith, increase comes.  Abundance comes.  Life happens.  Real Life.

We have looked at these promises, and wondered if they could really be true.  We have not seen the manifestation.  We have not experienced the answers we have believed for and discouragement has set in.  satan has seen to it that we rationalize and reason and move into a the place of doubt and unbelief.  This is his strategy.  This is his plan.  his only hope is that he can weaken, limit and ultimately destroy our faith.

Now, it’s time.  It’s time for you and me to move out of our complacency and comfort and begin to invade satan’s territory.  It is time for us to be aggressive.  To be on the offense.  Not the defense, but the offense.  If we are satisfied to remain in our comfort zone… in the place we now are, we are backslidden.  Backslidden.  Not keeping up with God and His divine purpose and plan for us.  Are you ready?  Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?  Are you willing to put it all on the line for God?  Are you ready to do whatever it takes?

God is looking… searching throughout the earth diligently seeking those to whom He can show Himself strong.

Will you volunteer?  Will you be one of the ones who will demonstrate the Power and the Glory of Letting God do in you whatever it takes?

I believe you are

Don’t Stagger. (Rom 4:20)

The overwhelming impossibilities are sometimes more than we can carry without staggering.  Staggering speaks of weakness.  It is doubt.  It is wavering.  It is unbelief.

Whatever you are facing…. do not stagger.  Instead STAND.  “Having done all… stand!”  Some will stagger under the burden.  Others will stagger in unbelief and doubt.  Many will stagger in discouragement and disappointment.  Some will be impatient.  Staggering is the symptom that comes just before falling and falling is failing.    Falling is giving up and backing off and turning back

Abraham “Staggered not…”  He stood.  Even when there was no “hope” he hoped anyway!  He called those things which were not as though they already were.  God is not geared to the fickle world.   He is a God who “Changeth Not.”  Regardless of what is happening in the World, Wall Street or Washington.

Make up your mind to “stagger not…” and to believe God.  Abraham did.  He stood. When he was one hundred years old he still believed he was going to have a son… Not because he “felt like it” but because God said he would. He chose to doubt his body and believe God.

God’s Promises are not dependent on your body, your mind, your strength, or your ability.  It is your faith that reaches out and brings God’s Promises from the Spiritual World into the Natural World.  Therefore, don’t waver.  Resist doubt.  Don’t be impatient.   TRUST GOD.

These are days of great possibility and potential.  In the face of problems and obstacles and hindrances that the world calls impossible… God reminds us that all things are possible through Him.

God will make your impossibilities possible.

If you will only believe
