Can you believe?

Isaiah had a problem.  He discovered some things in the realm of the Spirit that were just too good to believe.  His problem was to convince his contemporaries to believe the Report that God had given to him.  He cried out in frustration:  “Who hath believed our report?”  (Isa. 53:1)

The Gospel is Good News.   Not bad new, sad news, but Good News and Glad News…

  • The Gospel is POSITIVE and not negative.
  • The Gospel is LIFE and not death.
  • The Gospel is HEALTH and not sickness.
  • The Gospel is SUCCESS and not failure.
  • The Gospel is PROSPERITY and not poverty.
  • The Gospel is LIBERTY and not bondage.
  • The Gospel is OPPORTUNITY and not restraint. It is an open door and not a closed door.
  • The Gospel is the WAY. The WAY OUT, the WAY UP, the WAY THROUGH and the WAY OVER.

Many in the Body of Christ are walking in defeat and despair and darkness because they will not “believe our report”…  They simply think it’s “too good to be true…”   But it is good and it is true!

So Believe our report…

  • Our sins are forgiven.
  • We have strength and power to live right and do right.
  • We are delivered out of satan’s dominion.
  • We are seated with Christ “in the heavenlies.”
  • We have the Nature of God our Father.
  • We have authority to use His Name.
  • We are in possession of Eternal Life.
  • We will live and never die.

Can you believe this?

Only Believe

If you are not facing impossibilities, you are, in fact, displeasing God.  The Word declares that without “faith it is impossible to please God” and if you are not facing Impossibilities, then you have no opportunity to activate and release your faith. Impossibilities are where you will meet God.  At the extremity of humanity, man meets deity.  If we never attempt the impossible, we are no better than natural man.

Just consider what natural man has accomplished by his own efforts.  For example:

Electric power, Air Travel, Space exploration, instant worldwide communication, Computer ingenuity, Medical marvels, Satellite Technology and thousands of other innovative and creative inventions.

Man, in effect, has done this without the help of the “supernatural” intervention of God.  Man’s own innovative and creative genius has risen to the challenge of the impossible and we are all the better off for it…  If man can do this in the natural… what more should we Spirit-Filled, Bible-Believing, God-Loving, Word-Centered individuals do as we face the challenge of the Impossible?

What are your “impossibilities”?

  • Some are saying: “I’ll never be able to live the Christian life… it’s just no use… it’s impossible.”
  • Others are thinking: “This Holy Ghost Business is too far out for me… I’ll never be able to understand it… it’s just impossible.”
  • You may be declaring: “My home will never be right… there is just too much difference between us… It will never work out… it’s just impossible.”
  • Some today are thinking: “I’ll never be able to have anything. I do not have the knowledge or background.  I’ve failed at most everything I’ve tried to do.  I think I will just quit… It’s just impossible.”
  • You may be saying: “I’ll never be healed… I’ve prayed and prayed and prayed. I guess healing is not for me.  I really wish it was.  Others may get healed, but for me, it’s just impossible.”
  • Some will think: “I’ve made too many mistakes already. God has given me many chances and I blew them all.  I am just a failure.  I have a bad record.  Nobody will ever give me a chance.  It’s just impossible.”

Guess where this stuff comes from?

IF you will Only Believe….

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.  Mr 9:23

Be strong and of a good courage…  Joshua 1:6

Be strong and courageous.  Being strong is a decision you make.  You do not “get strong” you “be strong.”  Being strong is a decision.  You decide to be strong and you decide to be weak.  You decide how you are going to be in your life.  It is really up to you.  You do not wait to get strong…. You “be strong!”  It is a specific choice you make.

God is saying to us:  Be Strong.  Don’t be weak.    Be strong in faith.  Strong in the stand you take.  Strong in the Word.  Strong in your calling.  Paul commands us to “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”  You can be strong or you can be weak.  Strong is better!

Strong wards off hell.  Strong defeats the devil.  Strong believes the Truth.  Strong refuses the Lie.  Strong never fails.  Strong never fears.  Strong resists.  Strong STANDS.

Courageous is Alert, Steadfast, Established, Prevailing, Obstinate… It is to be “on foot” and alert.  It means to be awake and not asleep.  It means to be locked and loaded.  It means to be ready.

Do you have the courage to do something about your situation?  Do you have the courage to challenge hell over your family?  Your marriage?  Your finances?  Your health?  How much courage do you have?  God commands us to BE COURAGEOUS.  Courage is the opposite of fear.  It is boldness and assertiveness.  It is refusing to stand still and watch the devil devour your possessions.  It means to launch an attack.  It means to be aggressive.  It means to be offensive.  It means to run into the battle!   Just as David ran toward his giant.

Don’t look at the size of the enemy.  Look at the size of the prize.  (Phil 4:13)

Why are you broken, wounded and sad?  What has come into your life that produced fear and dread and pain?  What are those elements in the Human Experience that make life miserable?  Do you understand that every misery and pain in life is caused by the devil?  By the powers of darkness… by those spirits in high places that purpose to kill, steal and destroy?    Here are a few and I know you can find some of these lurking within your heart….

Rejection, loneliness, being unloved, failure, frustration, fear, worry, uncertainty, bondage, being “blue,” feelings of melancholy, unhappiness, burdens… loaded with care, being broke… strapped financially, guilt, condemnation, sickness, disease, pain, broken hearted, weariness and fatigue, anxiety, grief, hopelessness, no joy, continual sadness, feelings of worthlessness, no purpose  in living, disappointment, boredom, lack of self-esteem, feelings of emptiness, resentment, anger, unforgiveness, and on and on I could go.

Are you in here somewhere?  Did you meet your “personal pain” in this list?  Are you continually coping with any of these?

Do you know that all of these are works of darkness and they are sent from the devil to destroy you?  Do you realize Jesus took these on Himself, shed His Blood and DIED to make you FREE of these?

Since satan did not succeed in keeping you from getting saved, he now purposes to make you miserable.  To make you tired of living.  To frustrate God’s Purpose for your life and to keep you blind and ignorant of the MAGNITUDE of YOUR REDEMPTION.

“Two prisoners stared through prison bars…  One saw mud, the other stars…”

Look Up

Look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh…   Lu 21:28

Fixing damaged faith.

Your faith can be damaged.  We are commanded to “have faith” (Mark 11:22) as well as to “Continue in the faith…” (Acts 14:22).  The one area of concentrated satanic attack is an attack on our faith position.  Some have developed strong faith only to have it attacked, damaged and weakened.

If your faith has been damaged, you need to get it repaired.  Every Believer can stand to have their faith undergirded.  Here are some things that can damage your faith:

  • Situations that seem to contradict your faith position.
  • Prayer that seems to go unanswered or ignored.
  • When individuals who are strong in faith suffer sickness, setback or failure.
  • Ministries or ministers who fall into sin and damage the integrity of the church.
  • Answers that are delayed to the point of the Believer giving up. When the “due” season for reaping seems to never arrive.
  • Slipping into compromise because doubting is easier than believing.

When your faith becomes damaged, what can you do to repair it?  How do we fix broken faith or strengthen weak faith?

  • Begin each day with a positive attitude.
  • Stand on and boldly confess the Word of God.
  • Be faithful, consistent and steadfast.
  • Expect good things to happen.
  • Live in the atmosphere of praise and thanksgiving.

Working faith pleases God  (Heb 11:6)

God wants to encourage you today.

He wants to build you up in your most Holy Faith…  He wants to strengthen you and help you and deliver you.  He wants you to be blessed.  He wants you to know that He is able to set you free from every snare and every devil and every fiery trial.  He speaks to you by His Word and through the Anointing and assures you that He has everything under control.

We have a lot going for us.  We are blessed and well provided for.  We live in abundance and suffer no lack.  We are God’s People and we are a special people…  God calls us “Peculiar”… “Set Apart”… “A Holy Nation”… “His Children”… “His Husbandry”… “His Garden”… “His Temple”…

We are blessed with an abundance of His Word…  Yet, many are hurting and wondering and wishing… some are doubting and even more are struggling with apparent impossible situations and trying circumstances.   If this is you…. hold on!

God wants you to be delivered.  God wants you to be free.   God wants you overcoming, ruling and reigning in life.  Deliverance is for you.  God is for you.  The Word is for you.

And God is Able!

The world is looking for heroes.

I’m looking for heroes.  People who inspire.  People who blaze trails.  People who refuse defeat.  Dreamers.  Pioneers.  The Bible is a great place to find winners.  And I had rather be around winners than losers.

Losers are for losers…  Winners are for winners…  In the Bible we find ordinary people who do extraordinary things.  People who are facing dream-shattering and hope-destroying situations and circumstances.  In the Bible we discover real men and real women.

The world is in for a shaking.  It will grow in intensity.  It will be good for those who know how to stand and it will be disastrous for those who are uncommitted and backslidden.  It will reveal heroes.  It will expose the strong and defeat the weak.  It will help the church… the true Church.  It will reveal the shallowness and the superficiality of religion.

Heroes are on the way back.  They are about to step out of the shadows into the light of the NOW.  History will be a great stage for the standers and the winners and the doers and the believers.    The movers and the shakers.  The courageous and the brave…. History is entering into a paradigm shift.   Nations are convulsing.   Governments are failing. Kings are falling.    But the Church is prevailing.   And will continue to prevail. Because Jesus is the Same yesterday, today and forever.  World leaders have come and gone.    But:

The Church will prevail

There are two kinds of faith.

First, there is Natural Faith and secondly, there is Supernatural Faith.

Natural Faith is based on what we see (our senses) and Supernatural Faith is based on what God Says.  Thomas exercised natural faith.  He would not believe (have faith) unless he saw the evidence.  He heard that Jesus was alive, but he refused to believe it unless he actually saw Him.  This is natural faith.

Abraham, on the other hand, exercised supernatural faith.  Abraham determined to believe (have faith) regardless of what he saw or felt.  His “senses” were not consulted.  He chose to Believe God.

Most believers are living in the realm of natural faith.   They tend to believe only what they can see.  They are subject to their senses and are dependent on natural facts.  Natural faith operates only in the realm of the visible, the sensible and the factual.

Other believers have determined to live in the realm of supernatural faith.  They can and do believe things that they cannot see.  They are not bound to the sense realm.  They are able to move beyond the natural and physical into the realm of the supernatural and spiritual.

They live by Truth instead of Facts

There will be times in your Christian Experience when it seems like nothing is happening

However, waiting is not bad.  Not if you understand what is taking place in the realm of the Spirit.  When we PRAY and BELIEVE, powerful spiritual forces are released.  These forces are invisible but they are REAL.  They work and they produce.  While we wait, we can win.  We do not have to get discouraged, or depressed or frustrated.

We can discover facets of God’s Grace and Tender Mercies that we never knew existed if we WAIT IN FAITH.

You will reap in due season (there is an APPOINTED TIME set BY GOD for your answer!), if you faint (to relax or become exhausted) not… Gal 6:9

While we wait, there are some things we can do to strengthen our Faith Position.  Waiting does not mean “doing nothing”.  “Resting” in God does not mean idleness or laziness.

While we wait can know that:

  • God is Working
  • satan is Resisting
  • Patience is developing
  • The Answer is Coming

And God is with us
