I have been a pastor for the past 50 years and senior pastor of Life Church in Mobile, AL for 47 years until I retired in 2009. Formerly a Southern Baptist, I received the baptism in the Holy Spirit in the early days of the Charismatic Movement and led our church into the mainstream of the Full Gospel Message. Life Church in Mobile emerged from a small beginning to become a growing church with a world vision. My wife and I founded Faith Academy, a Christian school, in 1969 and is presently one of the largest Christian schools in Alabama with a student body of over 1800.
