Word for Today:  March 17

The world is in for a shaking.

It is beginning now and it will grow in intensity.  It will be good for those who know how to stand and it will be disastrous for those who are weak, uncommitted and backslidden.

It will help the church… the True Church.  It will reveal the shallowness and the superficiality of the religious bunch.  Heroes are on the way back…

History will be a great stage for the “standers” and the “doers” and the believers.   Change is coming.   Change is happening.  And more change is on the way.

History is convulsing.  Governments have failed.  Leaders have fallen.  Nations have collapsed.  Kings have been dethroned.  But the Church is here and the Church has prevailed…  Just as Jesus said it would!  (Mat 16)

The devil is gearing up for a last-ditch effort to deceive the masses before the Grand and Glorious appearance of Jesus on earth!

The Word and Your Spirit

You are BORN AGAIN by the Word. 

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incor­ruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.   1Pet. 1:23   

          The Word initiates and completes the New Birth.  That is why Satan hates it so much. The Word quickens the dead human spirit and brings it to life… (Zoe: the God-kind of life).   

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.   1John 5:12   

          The Word is impregnated with the same kind of life that God has.  When you are born again, your human spirit is made alive, re-created and made perfect, sinless and complete.     

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.   1John 3:9  

          This verse refers to your human spirit that is re-created, made perfect and “fixed” so that it (the spirit; not the mind or body) cannot sin.  This passage of scripture is speaking only of your spirit-man… your natural man (flesh) and your un-renewed mind is subject to sin and certainly capable of sin.    

          The devil wants to keep the Word out of you because the Word working in you makes you like God.  The Word in you gives you the God-kind of life..  The Word makes your spirit man perfect, sinless and untouchable by Satan and demon powers.  The Word makes you eternal.  The “real” you (your re-created human spirit),  will never die nor will it ever be subject to or dom­inated by death. The “real you” lives and overcomes because of the Word that is in you.  

          Let’s notice some sequential events that give us a better understanding of what being born again means:

First:

          You were born, in the natural, dead in tres­passes and sin.  

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins: Eph. 2:1   

          You came into this world through a natural birth.  You were born with a dead spirit, an unrenewed mind and a sin-dominated body.  You were born with the fallen and sinful nature of your fa­ther, Adam.  You received, through your natural birth, the sinful, natural, death-doomed nature of Adam.

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.   Rom. 5:12     

• Your natu­ral man was ruled and controlled by the flesh and was guided by human reasoning through a carnal mind.

• You were bound, controlled and owned by the devil.  You were condemned to live under the law of sin and death. 

• You were motivated by fear, subject to worry, anxiety, confusion, frustration, despair and, ultimately, death. 

• You were constantly and continually the victim of sickness, dis­ease, depression, and failure. 

• You were sad, mad, mean, uncontrolled and miserable.   You were of the earth;  you were “earthy.” 

The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.   1Cor. 15:47  

• You were subject to all the consequences of the curse that came as a re­sult of the fall of Adam. 

Second:

          When the Word broke through and into your dead human spirit, light came in.

The entrance of thy words giveth light…   Psa. 119:130.

Then when the Word came in, you willingly mixed what you believed about what the Word says with your “measure” of faith.

For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.    Hebr. 4:2   

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.   Ro 12:3 

The Word that came in impregnated your dead spirit with the Life of God and you were instantly and miraculously born again.  You were regenerated. You were “re-gened” with the genetic signature of God Himself!  You became a New Creation in Christ.  Your dead Adamic human spirit was recreated in the image and likeness of God Himself.  You were saved.  You were born into the family of God.  You be­came a child of God. 

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.  1Pet. 1:23  

Your natural man (the old man of the flesh) was crucified, slain and buried.  And you are now alive with the Life of God.  What a miracle!   

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.  Gal. 2:20   

 Your old carnal mind is presently in the process of be­ing renewed by the Word of God.  Your recreated human spirit is now filled with the Life of God.  The Seed of God is in you.   You are growing stronger each day and you are being conformed more and more into the Image of Christ.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.   2Cor. 3:18  

Word for Today:  March 16

Knowing is important.

Jesus wants you to know some things.  That is what Preachers and Churches are here for… to tell you things you need to know.  That is why God has given us His Word.

Many today feel that they know enough.  However, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.  No knowledge is a deadly thing.  I have heard it said that “what you don’t know won’t hurt you…”  That’s right, it won’t hurt you, it will KILL YOU.

My people are destroyed (perish) for lack of knowledge….  (Hosea 4:6)

Limited knowledge will keep you in trouble all the time.  Full knowledge (revelation that is received and acted on) will guide you into truth and keep you out of trouble.   Wisdom is knowledge properly applied.

Jesus told us that we could know the truth and that the truth would make us free (John 8:32).  Do you want to be free?

“Free” is more than a political or human rights issue.   “Free” is more than a constitutional guarantee.  This is a free nation, but millions are still in great bondage. Multitudes are struggling with and being held captive by demonic forces.

“Free” is knowing the truth.

“Free” is acting on the Truth.

“Free” is receiving and living in what Truth promises and provides.

“Free” is doing the Word and living in Word Promises

Establishing foundation principles

The Word of God is the WORD OF GOD  

          The Word of God is inspired, inerrant, and infallible.  It is authentic, it is alive and it is eternal.   It is full of miracle-working power.  It is God-Breathed.  It will never pass away.  It is with us now and it will be with us in heaven. 

          Holy men of God were inspired and moved on by the Holy Spirit and what they spoke and what they wrote be­came the written Word of God.  However, the Word of God existed before it became a written word.  All creation had its birth out of the Word which God spoke.  Only after the establishment of the human race, did that Word become a written word.

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.   2Pet. 1:21   

           That record is com­plete and suf­ficient and it is the foundation and primary message of the Church today.   It is relevant and up-to-date.  It needs nothing added to it and it needs noth­ing changed in it.  It is perfect and it is finished.  

The Word of God is the Will of God

           It is His Testament… it is what He desires for His creation.  The Word reveals His eternal purpose for the Earth, for the Heavens, for the Nation of Israel, for the Church and for the believer.  The Word is the written down Will of God. 

The Word of God is the key to bringing God’s Will to pass on earth

          When we believe the Word, say the Word and do the Word, we bring God’s Will down from heaven and release it into the earth.  Jesus prayed for the Will of God to be done in earth as it is being done in heaven.  (Mat. 6:10)  When the Word prevails, heaven’s power is re­leased on earth and God’s will is done. 

          God’s will is accomplished and established through the Church.  The Church can accomplish the Will of God on earth by doing the Word of God.  When we do the Word we accomplish the Will of God.

The Believer can live and keep from dying only by the Word

…that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.   Deut. 8:3

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that pro­ceedeth out of the mouth of God. Matt. 4:4   

          If we are to live to the fullest poten­tial of God’s plan, we will do so only by the Word and through the Word.  The Word is able.  The Word is adequate.  The Word is enough. 

• The Word will tell us what is to come and will prepare us for it
• The Word will make us strong and keep us strong 
• The Word will drive out sickness, disease, infirmity and weakness 
• The Word will keep us well, keep us whole, deliver us, and keep us in prosperity 
• The Word will convict and chasten us
• The Word will cut off the ex­cess and expose the unnecessary
• The Word will starve our doubts and feed our faith
• The Word will make us ready to meet Jesus 
• The Word will give us life and life more abundantly
• The Word shows us how to live and keep from dying

satan is fighting.

But he is fighting the God in you.  So he is fighting a can’t-win battle.

he is defying the God Who lives in you.  This is the reason the devil hates you… you are where God is.  When he see you he sees God.  When he sees you coming he thinks God is coming.  He hates God and defies God and is terrified of God.

David realized this in his confrontation with Goliath.  He declared:  “Who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the Living God?”  He did not see a giant.  He saw an opportunity.  He did not say that Goliath was defying the armies of Saul or the armies of Israel… but instead, the armies of the LIVING GOD.

Now, Who is the Champion?  Who is the Stronger One?  Who is the Victorious One?   It is God Who lives in you.  If He wins, you win.  If He can’t lose, you can’t lose.  If He overcomes, you overcome.

If satan is defying the God in you he is also defying the Word of God in you.   The Word has always been the enemy of satan.  The Word busted him and kicked him out of heaven.   The Word “bruised” his head.  The Word keeps him at bay.  The Word continually destroys all his “works.”

Whatever the devil will ever do, can be undone by the Word of God.  Whatever is planned and programmed by the devil can be prevented by the Word of God.

It is the Word that defeats the devil.  satan cannot stand against the Word.  Jesus used the Word on the devil and the devil left Him.  “It is written…” is what Jesus declared to the devil on the mount of temptation.

It is in its infancy now and it will grow in intensity.  It will be good for those who know how to stand and it will be disastrous for those who are weak, uncommitted and carnal and cold.

It will help the church… the True Church.  It will reveal the shallowness and the superficiality of the religious bunch.  Hypocrisy, dishonesty, hidden sin and liars will be shamefully exposed.  Play-like church will not last and men-pleasing preaching will not cut the mustard.

History will be a great stage for the “standers” and the “doers” and the believers.  The staunch and the steady.  The true and the Real.   Change is coming.   Change is going to happen.  It will rise from a whisper to an earth shaking crescendo and Righteousness will Prevail.

History is convulsing.  Governments have failed.  Leaders have fallen.  Nations have collapsed.  Kings have been dethroned.  War threats and accusations are heard on every front.  But the Church is here and the Church has prevailed…  Just as Jesus said it would!  (Mat 16)

The devil is gearing up for a last-ditch effort to deceive the masses before the Grand and Glorious appearance of Jesus on earth!  But all his effort will be futile to those who are anchored in God.

Jesus wants you blessed and free.

He does not want you bound, enslaved or held captive.   Are you free?  You may look free but not be free.  You may talk free but still be bound.  You may act free but still be held captive.

You are the only one (other than God) who really knows if you are free.  Your pastor does not know.  Your neighbors do not know.  Your relatives do not know.  But you know.

• Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?
• Are you tired of being weary and frustrated and defeated?
• Are you ready to be completely released from worry? From anxiety?  From fear?  From depression?
• Do you sincerely want to be delivered and set free from any and all addictions?
• Do you want a break-through? Do you want it today?  In your Finances?  In your Family? In your Job?  In your Marriage.  In your Business?

Do you believe you can trust Jesus to tell you the truth?

Will you trust the Word of God to speak Truth to your heart today?

Will you believe it now?

Will you act on it now?

Will you risk everything you have to gain everything you need now?

Will you?  Today?  Now?

• The Word Performs.
• The Word Protects.
• The Word Perfects.
• The Word Works.
• The Word Accomplishes.
• The Word Produces.
• The Word Creates.
• The Word Sustains.
• The Word is Indispensable to the believer.

The Level of Victory you are experiencing is directly proportional to the amount of WORD that is active in your life.  This is a fixed equation.  Only YOU can change it.

• The amount of Healing you have is equal to the amount of Word that is active in your life…
• The amount of Prosperity you have is equal to the amount of Word that is active in your life…
• The amount of Peace you have is equal to the amount of Word that is active in your life…
• The amount of Joy you have is equal to the amount of Word that is active in your life…
• The amount of Faith you have is equal to the amount of Word that is active in your life…
• The amount of Overcoming power you have is equal to the amount of Word that is active in your life…

All redemptive privileges work proportionally to the level of Word that is active in you.

Whatever revelation you have from the Word is what you will have faith to act on and receive.   Revelation is important because this will determine your level of deliverance.

Knowledge is not enough.  Intellect will not do it.  Revelation is imperative to receiving your deliverance and maintaining it.  Your “Perfection” level will never exceed your Word level.

The Word is Truth and Truth makes you free

Word for Today:  March 9

Preaching.

Preaching is done by men.  By women.  By children.  By twice-born, Holy Ghost appointed and anointed human beings.  Not by angels.  Not by Seraphim or Cherubim.  Not by heavenly hosts…  but by Human beings who are full of the Holy Ghost and consumed by Fire.  Those who are Called.  Who are Commissioned.  Who are Ordained by God.  Who are Selected.  Who are Sent.

Jesus was a Preacher.  He was called.  He was appointed.  He was anointed.  He was sent.  First and foremost, Jesus was a Preacher.  He had Fire in His bones, Oil on His head and a Sword in His mouth.

However, His outward qualifications would not be adequate to place Him in a modern ministry.  His demeanor would not qualify Him to be a successful preacher in the setting of today’s church.  His education would be lacking and His experience inadequate to qualify Him for a successful pastoral position in today’s religious world.

He did not dress like a preacher.  He did not keep company with preachers or with people preachers normally keep company with.  He did not act like a preacher, talk like a preacher, or live like a preacher.  He did not have a preacher’s education or a preacher’s credentials.  Yet, He was and is the Son of God.  He was a Word preacher…  Ahead of His time but in tune with His Father.  He was literally consumed with His Call and ready to Die for His Cause.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?   Rom 10:14

Word for Today:  March 5

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.  Eph 3:19

I believe the “fullness of God” has to do with the Righteousness of God.  Righteousness is the force, the energy and the power of being “Just Right” with God….   Justified:   (“Just-as-if-I’d” never sinned).

When we receive Jesus by faith, we receive the Righteousness of God.  When we are Born Again, we are born OUT OF our sin nature and INTO the Righteous nature of God.

On the Cross, Jesus exchanged His righteous nature for our sin nature.  He became what we were in order that we might become Who He is.  When we make Jesus Lord of our lives we are born out of our sin nature and into the righteous nature of God.  We are not a person with two natures, but we are NEW, having never existed before.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.     All things that are now in us are from God… 2 Cor 5:17- 18

What was before… the sin nature, darkness, lack of power, sin, poverty and lack, failure and frustration… is dead. Stone Cold Dead.  (So don’t be guilty of resurrecting this old dead nature).

Jesus has bought back and brought back what Adam lost… and MORE.

Jesus became what we were in order that we might be Who He is.
