Word for Today:  July 18

Evidence

There is only one real fool-proof evidence of the new birth.    Jesus gave this measuring method to us in His Word.  This is the one most important characteristic of the Christian Walk.  Nothing is more important than this.  This one demand and one command is basic.

Jesus talked about it more than anything else and He demonstrated it more perfectly than any other message of His earthly ministry.  He longed to see it in His disciples and He knew that it would be the basis for the New Testament Church.

If the Church is to BE what Jesus died for it to be and if the Church is to do what He died for it to do, then this one thing is absolutely necessary.

I am convinced that this is the greatest need in this hour.   It is perhaps the greatest need in your life as a Believer.  It is not impossible.  It is possible.  It is necessary.  It is vital.  It is fundamental to the continuation of the Gospel on earth.

Jesus called this a “new commandment” in John 13:34.  He knew that He was soon to depart from the earth and He wanted so desperately for His followers to be adequately equipped to carry on His Ministry on earth.  He did not emphasize theology.  He did not emphasize education.  He did not emphasize experience or ability.  He brought attention to the one thing that will guarantee the continued success of the Gospel message.

He also stated that this would be the one qualifying characteristic that would cause the world to know how we stand with God.

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples…  John 13:35.

By this….  This is the one thing that will show the world where you stand with God.  And this is the greatest thing needed in the Christian Faith today.  This One Thing is

LOVE

He that loveth not knoweth not God for God is Love…  I John 4:8

The Hardest Thing.

The most difficult thing to do in your Christian Walk is to stand.  It is always hard to stand.  We are in warfare and are constantly being buffeted by the enemy.  The challenge is for us to stand.  Anybody can quit, change or compromise when the pressure is on.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand…  Eph. 4:13

God wants to encourage you today.  He wants to build you up today.  He wants to strengthen you today.  He want to help you in your fiery trial and in your Spiritual Warfare.  He wants to reassure you that He is able to deliver you and that He, at this very moment, has everything under control and if He does, then so do you.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper… Isa 54:7

When the enemy shall come in, like a flood the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard (the Word) against him…  Isa 59:19

Fear thou not for I am with thee: be not discouraged; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness…  Isa 41:10

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength…  Isa 40:29

Many are struggling with apparent impossible situations.  Some are hoping against hope and wishing for the night to end and the day to begin.

Many are tempted to doubt and move into unbelief because the manifestation of their faith has been delayed.

Others are fearful and anxious because of the intensity of their trials.

God wants you to know today that He is Able to Deliver you out of your fire.

And He will

Choices are important.

Your life and the lives of your family depend on what you choose and what you refuse.  Your future will be determined by what you choose and what you refuse today.

Your greatest responsibility is making right choices.  There are only two kinds of CHOICES before you: (1) Right ones (based on the Word) and (2) wrong ones (based on the world).

Right choices are choices that are made on the basis of God’s Word.  They are choices and commitments that are made in agreement with the Word of God.  These right choices are guarantees that God will work with you in accomplishing your dreams and goals in life.

When you make a right choice… one that is based on the Word, you make a connection with Deity and you are assured that no powers in hell or in earth will defeat you or stop you.  You are locked into success and blessing because you have made a choice that agrees with the will of God for you.

You have chosen life and refused death.  You have chosen blessing and you have refused cursing.

Wrong choices are choices that are made on the basis of the kosmos (world system) and on human reasoning apart from God.  The World System is the domain of the devil.  he is called the god of this world.  his kingdom is destined to failure and anything and everything connected with it will fail also.

Human reasoning, natural facts, sense knowledge, and an unrenewed mind are the elements that give birth to wrong choices.  Wood, hay and stubble are the results of wrong choices and gold, silver and precious stones are the results of making right choices. (1Cor 3:12-13)

Those who make right choices will succeed and live and those who make wrong choices will fail and self-destruct.

Every success is the result of making right choices.

Every failure is the result of making wrong choices.

Acts 27

THE SITUATION “all hope was then taken away…”  (20) 

Ac 23:11 …the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.

God said it.  I Believe it.  That settles it.

Acts 27:13-44

Relate the story….

There will come times in your Christian Experience when it seems that everything is going wrong.    Some of you are there today… and if you’re not there, you will get there sometime in your life.  Once you have determined to believe God and Life by Faith satan will challenge every step you take.  Your faith will be tried!  How you act and what you do while you are under pressure reveals your spiritual growth and development.

Have you ever faced a situation that got worse as you stood in faith?  You prayed for someone who was sick and they got sicker.  You really believed for some miracle and it never manifested?  The harder you tried the worse things got!  What do we need to do in the face of failure?

Many Bible characters developed into spiritual giants in the face of failure…

• Joseph… thrown into the pit and sold as a slave.   Became the Prime Minister of Egypt 
• Moses… Faced the Red Sea with the enemy approaching…. God showed up led them through
• Gideon…  Hid behind a barn scared of the Midianites… His 300 defeated the hordes of enemy troops
• Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego…  Refuse to deny God and Survived the fiery furnace

When things go wrong, there are some options before you.  You have some choices that you can make.  You will make some choices today and what you choose to do will determine success or failure in your situation.

• You can quit…  never good
• You can blame God for your mess… blame someone else… rationalize
• You can waste time trying to figure it out… the natural thing to do
• You can run away…  will never solve the problem…  or:
• You can Believe God… and this will always result in victory and deliverance

What Paul Did when everything went wrong…  He refused to let the situation control him… Instead, he took control of the situation.

Acts 27

• God Said it and Paul Believed it (Acts 23:11)

Ac 23:11 …the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.

What God says will surely come to pass.  If God says it, it will happen.  What has God spoken to you?

You are more than a conqueror.   You can do all things through Christ.  Nothing shall be impossible to you.  You are an overcomer.  You are destined to win and will never lose.  God is for you and no one can be against you. 

• Cheer Up (22)

22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship

Anybody can moan and groan and grovel in self-pity.  Anybody can call things as they are instead of as they are going to be.  If you will be of good cheer, you can turn your situation around.  If necessary God will move heaven and earth to rescue you.  There will be a visitation from the Father.  You will live and not die.  You have nothing to weep about and everything to shout about.  Impossible situations attract God’s attention.  Be of Good Cheer!

• Fear Not.  (24)

24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.

Fear and panic always invite disaster.  Fear gives satan opportunities to torment you.  Fear moves the devil and activates powers of darkness.  Faith taps into the resources of God and cancels out Fear.  Fear and Faith are opposites.  Faith cancels out fear and fear prevents our faith from working.  Never give in to fear. 

The Lord is my light and salvation; whom shall I fear?  The Lord is the strength of my life; of who shall I be afraid?  Psa 27

Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil’ for Thou art with me… Psa 23

Check out Psalm 91

• Believe God in the midst of the storm (25)

25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.

Believe God and what God has said.  It does not matter what IS … the only thing that matters is what God has Said.   “I believe God that it shall be even as it was told me…” (25)

Do not believe circumstances.  Do not look at your storm.  Do not worry when things go wrong.   Instead believe what God has promised.

What God told me about Life Church. “I have put before you an open door and no man can close it…”  Rev 3:8 Times of imminent failure: foreclosure.  Church splits.  Accusations.  Lies.  Gossip.  Criticism.  Cantankerous church members….

• Don’t Run Away (31)

31 Paul said to the centurion and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.

Never run from the situation.  Don’t look for life boats… The shortest and best way through an impossible situation is straight through.   Stay with it.  Stick with it.  Never give up.  Do not abandon ship.

God is in control if He is in control of you.  Help is on the way.

• Act Like Nothing is Wrong (34)

34 Wherefore I pray you to take some meat: for this is for your health: for there shall not an hair fall from the head of any of you.

Experience at Life when we were facing foreclosure.  The only way satan has of getting information is by observation.  By looking at you and listening to you.  Act as if nothing is wrong and everything is great.  This will drive the devil up the wall.  Never plan your future on present circumstances or existing conditions.  Remember… God’s supply is always greater than your needs. 

• Your Faith in the fire will inspire.  (36)

36 Then were they ALL of good cheer, and they also took some meat.

Your victory stand in the midst of any impossible “hopeless” situation will inspire others to trust God.

• The Storm will subside, but you will survive (44)

44 And the rest, some on boards, and some on broken pieces of the ship. And so it came to pass, that they escaped all safe to land.

“And it came to pass (not to stay) … that they escaped all safe to land….”

Delay is not defeat.  Every raging demon will fail.  

So…  what about now.  Today.  What you are facing.  The stuff that’s going wrong.  The stress you are experiencing.  Your worries.  Your fears.  Your anxieties.  Let’s believe God.  You will make it through.  You will survive and all will be well.

Word for Today:  July 16

Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth…. Eph 4:25

Wherefore putting off the lie…

In these passages, Paul is speaking about the Believer.  He is talking about “putting off” and “putting on”.  This is an act of the human will.  We determine what we “put off” and what we “put on.”  We are to “put on” the New Man with all his privileges and provisions and we are to “put off” the old man with all his lack and need.

This speaks of personal action that issues forth from the human will.  You do it or you do not do it.  If you do it you get the results the Bible promises and if you do not do it you don’t.

There are two primary principles involved in living and not dying.  One is Truth and the other is “the lie”.  Operating in TRUTH results in LIFE.  Operating in “the lie” results in DEATH.  Jesus said:  “I am the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE…”  John 14:6.

In the 17th chapter of John, Jesus declared:

They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world (kosmos).  Sanctify them through thy Truth:  thy Word is Truth… (16-17).

Every man has the option of living by Truth or living by the Lie.  The Lie is from hell.  It is authored by satan.  It is the operating principle of the kingdom of darkness.  demons operate and function by the lie.  Everything in hell operates and functions by the lie.  Pain, lack, fear, sadness, depression, worry, sickness, disease, poverty, anxiety, stress, condemnation, guilt, dread, bondage, no hope, no joy, no happiness, no satisfaction, no purpose, misery, uncertainty, terror, death…. all these operate by the force of the lie.

And the Word commands us to

Put away the lie…

Joshua 14:7-12

Caleb:  “mad dog” in Hebrew (“raging with canine madness”)

Joshua 14

7  Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of the LORD sent me from Kadeshbarnea to espy out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in mine heart.

8  Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God.

9  And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children’s for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God.

10  And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old.

11  As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in.

12  Now therefore give me this mountain…

• Moses sent to search the land in the second year after the Exodus. He and Joshua were the only two of the 12 who encouraged the people to go up and possess the land. The other 10 were fearful, intimidated, cowards, and unbelievers.  They believed only what they saw.  Joshua and Caleb believed what God said.   

• (Anakim) and had been for centuries.

• .  The army would laugh if he tried to enlist.  He’s an old man.  With gray hair and baggy skin.   At least on the outside.  But inside he’s vigorous and bristling with surging youth and strength and aspiration.  His 85 year-old bag of skin is holding a 25 year old man inside who is mad.  Mad as all get-out.  Mad and determined.  And fearless.  Just like a dog “ranging with canine madness…” (That’s the meaning of his name in Hebrew)  He had the spirit of a MAD DOG.         

 Your destiny will be decided   What you do or don’t do will determine your future.  This is not just “a meeting” it is “the meeting.”  You have a choice to make.   I cannot relate nor articulate the importance of these next few minutes. 

Look at me.  This 85 year old skin of mine is holding a 25 year old man inside.  My mind is possessed, my youth is restored, my resolve is maxed out and I’m taking my Mountain.

I absolutely unequivocally refuse to:

• Think like an old man
• Look like an old man
• Act like an old man
• Dress like an old man
• Do what old men do
• Go where old men go
• Talk like old men talk
• Walk like old men walk
• Expect what old men expect
• Believe what old men believe
• There are records to be set
• Standards to be established
• Places to go
• Things to do 
• Messages to be preached
• Books to be written
• Nations to be reached 
• A world to be changed
• A God to be honored
• A church to be revived
• A country to be awakened
• A calling to be completed

1.  Caleb Saw it   (had a dream) (Old men dream dreams and young men see visions)

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions… Joe 2:28 

God had birthed in him an impossible dream.  His life took on new direction, new passion and new resolve.  It was burned into his spirit like a hot branding iron.  He could not escape it.  (When God called me to preach) My friends and my relatives said “I know Dick, this thing he’s doing will last about 6 months and then He’ll give it up.”  Well, la-de-da…  It’s lasted, not six months but 60 years.  My friends are forgotten, my critics are gone and my relatives are dead.  But I’m HERE and STILL AT IT!   Caleb could not resist His Dream.  He could not forget it.  He SAW IT with his EYE of FAITH…. With the same kind of eyes Joshua and Caleb had at Kadesh Barnea.  Joshua saw the Promised Land and Caleb saw his promised mountain.  Remember we walk by faith and not by sight. 

We must see it until we see it.  SEE IT until we SEE IT.  Where are you going?  What do you intend to do with your life?  What will remain here on earth as your testimony to the Power and Greatness of God after you are dead? 

Are you looking at the giants that now inhabit your mountain?  Are you seeing retreat instead of attack?  Are you seeing run instead of charge?  Are you seeing loss instead of gain?  Are you seeing failure instead of success?  “IF God be for us who can be against us?”

2.  Caleb Wanted it  

He was driven to seek something bigger and better

Are you tired of the same old same old?  Do you long for a new beginning?  Are you looking for a way out and a way up?  Are you ready for a move from the mediocre?  Just how desperate are you for a change of direction in your life and ministry?  

Do you plan on staying where you are right now, tonight?   Or are you determined to GO to the place God has prepared for you?  Are you going to continue to live on the level of normality or are you going drive out the giants and take your Mountain?

The trouble is most of us have become comfortable and complacent.  We have all our ducks in a row.  Life has become an interstate highway and we are running on cruise control.   Most of what we do is cookie-cutter stuff.  Over and over.  Again and again.  Same thing week in and week out, year in and year out.  And we are stuck.  Wallowing in monotony.  A prisoner of the normal.  The natural.  Ruled by facts instead of faith.  Living a life and locked in a ministry marked by Lackluster.   

It is time for a game changer.     Do you feel it?  Do you have a stirring in your spirit right now?  Are ready?  Will you move out?  Will you take your mountain?

Actually, Life has no limits.  Your ministry has no limits.  Opportunity does not have an expiration date.    Every door is open and every light is green.  The time is right and God is waiting on you to seize the moment.    

The time to move out, move on and move up is NOW.

RIGHT NOW.  THIS MOMENT.  IN THIS HOUSE and in THIS MEETING.    NOW is the accepted time.  

Did you know it is never the “right time” as far as the devil is concerned?     How do we know it is the right time?  How can we know that this is the moment?  I’ll tell you how you can know.  Because the Word says so and because you “feel” it.  Some are frightened with “feelings” but the only people who don’t have “feelings” are DEAD PEOPLE.  Your spirit is being stirred right now.  The Word of God and the Will of God is presenting themselves to you as I speak.  God is making His move and tonight it is your move.    

If you are only focused staying where you are, you will miss all the excitement of living life with the volume turned wide open.    God designed life and ministry to be exciting.  He is not the Author of dull.  

Recently I posted on FaceBook “how to have and exciting life.”   It went something like this:

OK.  Where does that put us tonight?    We are either settled in and hunkered down in the doldrums and dullness of a mundane life or we are on the prowl for better stuff.  We are either sitting or climbing.  We are either piddling in mud puddles swimming with tadpoles or we are among the big fish out in the deep.  We are stuck or we are moving on with God.  We are hunkered in the valley or we are driving out giants and taking our mountain.

God has a bright, exciting and intense future for every one of us.  

Jer 29:11  I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. (The Message)  What kind of future are you hoping for??

That tells it like it is.  That tells it like God wants it to be.  That tells it like God has planned it for us.

3.  Caleb Believed God

“Behold I have set before thee an open door and no man can shut it”  Rev 3:8

Real Bible Faith is a faith that never takes “no” for an answer.  Bible Faith is Activated Faith.  Bible Faith is a faith that “takes.”  It is not Reactive…. It is Proactive.  It is not Defensive… it is Offensive.    Most believers are operating in defensive and reactive faith.  Some are operating in Passive faith.   Passive Faith is just that… passive.  It is inactive.  It accepts things as they are and it is content to leave things unchanged.  Aggressive Faith is a Faith that makes things happen.

It reaches out into nothing and holds on until nothing becomes something.  It TAKES things.  It MOVES things.  It CHANGES things. 

The Faithfulness of God and Confidence in His Word has been the driving Force for 60 years of ministry in my life.  When Pat and I did not know what to do or where to go or how to minister, the God always had the answer for us.  The foundation of our ministry has been the initiative to believe God and Trust His Word and to take it to the whole World.

It was prophesied nearly 53 years ago that the small congregation of dirt farmers and factory workers that composed Lott Road Baptist Church (eight miles from Eight Mile) was commissioned by the Holy Spirit to take the Word to the World.  At last count, Life Church now has ministry in 17 nations many of them with churches, Faith Academies, Bible schools , seminaries and degree offering colleges that have been established.  GOD IS AWESOME.

Now… what had God promised you?  What has God instructed you to do?  Where has God told you to go?  You know.  It is burned in your spirit.  You think about it.  Dream about it.  Want to do it.  NOW IS THE TIM.

4.  Caleb never quit

If there is any lesson I have learned and learned well, it is the fact that we never quit.  No matter what.  No matter who.  No matter when.

 Now, just where does this leave you right now?

What are you going to do?  Where are you going to go?  What are you going to acquire?

Stay stuck?  Stay sad?  Stay bored?  Stay discouraged?   Stay in your cookie-cutter same old, same old kind of life?  Or will you Move Out into a Mountain-conquering and mountain-possessing life?

Right now you have a challenge facing you.  You have a decision to make.  And you will make it one way or the other.  You can decide to stay like you are and where you are or you can decide to kick it up a notch, pick up your stuff and TAKE YOUR MOUNTAIN.  Taking your mountain comes out of a personal decision you and you alone can and will make.   

And not deciding is really deciding.  No decision is really a decision.   No response is a response.

My challenge to you is do not wait.  Do not stay where you.  The opportunity is NOW.  The time for you to take your mountain is NOW.  IN THIS MEETING.  TONIGHT.

Word for Today:  July 13

Faith can be strengthened.

Our faith can be strengthened by remembering and by forgetting…. by remember­ing past victories and forgetting past failures.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus…  Phil 3:13-14

Many times, my faith has been fortified just by sitting down, being still and listing the many victories God has given me in the past.  When I begin to remember the times God delivered me (and the ministry) through absolutely impossible situations, my confidence and faith for a present pressing problem seems to disappear.

When we consider the great things God has done for us and to us and through us, it becomes apparent just how faithful God is and absolute His Word is.   He honors His Word and keeps His Promises.  Our past victories will attest to this fact.  We must not allow satan to tempt us with discouragement and depression when he reminds us of painful failures in the past.

Forget past failures and remember past victories.

This will build and strengthen faith.

And it will increase your confidence in God and His Word.

There are four primary Truths or Revelations that have brought me safely through every attempt of the devil to defeat and destroy me in over 60 years of Preaching the Gospel.  They have transformed my life and saved my ministry.    I am certain that a full and complete Revelation of these Truths will do for you what it has done for me.   Of all the information and revelation we have received over the years, I consider these the most important and the most life-changing.  I urge you to stay before God and in the Word until these same powerful Revelations are firmly and eternally planted in the deepest recesses of your spirit.  They will bring you into a new dimension of Spiritual Victory.

            First, Study the Word and meditate the Word until you receive a comprehensive Understanding of the Character and Nature of God.  Not only that there Is a God, but make it your quest to learn just what Kind of God God is.  His Heart.  His Nature.  His Character.  His Attributes.  How He thinks.  How He works.  What He does.  His Will.  His Thoughts.  Who He is.  Discover His Goodness.  His Mercy.  His Grace.  His Tolerance.  His Dream.  This One Truth can and will transform your Spiritual Life.  Scrap all the old doctrines and ideas that make God a God contrary to the God He Is.  Learn and come to know the God of the Bible.

            Next… number two… study the Word and meditate the Word until you receive a Revelation of the Power of the Word of God.   Attack the Word with your Faith and throw all reason aside.  Believe it.  Really Believe it.  Know it and speak it.  Meditate it. Stand on it.  Confess it.  Never doubt it and never neglect it.  See and understand what the Word has done and what it is Able to Do.  Stay before God until you come to realize the Power of the Word of God.  Saturate your mind and spirit with the Proof and Provisions God has given us in His Word. 

Number three… study the Word and meditate the Word until you come into a full and complete understanding of Faith.  What it is and what it does.  How it operates.  The place it holds in the heart of God and how it is essential if you and I are going to please Him.  Don’t allow the extremes you have heard about rob you of know the truth about faith.  Determine to live by faith.  Let Faith take you into the level of abundance God intends every Believer to experience.

            Again, fourth… study the Word and meditate the Word until you come into a comprehensive revelation of the Authority God has given to you as a believer.  The Authority of the Believer.  What God has provided for you through the Life, Death, Burial, Resurrection and Present-Day ministry of Jesus Christ.  Know Who you are and What you can do.  And then daily exercise this authority over all the powers of darkness and over every test, trial, and temptation. 

These have forever changed my life.  These are foundation blocks the Church is built upon.  All these have their origin in Jesus Christ.   He is the Chief Corner Stone and what we have is because of Him. 

NEVER GIVE UP and NEVER GIVE IN

… and having done all;  stand.  Eph 6:13 

Word for Today:  July 12

There will be times in your Christian Experience when it seems like nothing is happening even though you are praying and believing.

However, waiting is not bad.  Not if you understand what is taking place in the realm of the Spirit.  When you PRAY and BELIEVE, powerful spiritual forces are released.  These forces are invisible but they are REAL.  They work and they produce.  While you wait, you can reinforce your faith.  You do not have to get discouraged, or depressed or frustrated.

Waiting can cause you to discover facets of God’s Grace and Tender Mercies that you never knew existed if  you wait with confidence and faith.

You will reap in due season (there is an APPOINTED TIME set BY GOD for your answer!), if you faint not… Gal 6:9

While you wait, there are some things you can do to strengthen your Faith Position.  Waiting does not mean “doing nothing.”  “Resting” in God does not mean idleness or inactivity.  Read the Word.  Meditate the Word.  Pray the Word.  Say the Word.

While you wait you can be assured that:

• God is working
• satan is resisting
• Patience is developing
• The answer is on the way

And God is with you

Word for Today:  July 11

God has made an awesome investment in you.

God has confidence in you.  God believes in you.  God’s Miracle Power is in you.  All of heaven’s power is in you.  You have the potential to change the world.  Noting is too hard for God and God lives in YOU.

The Bible says that with God all things are possible.  Paul wrote that “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me…”  The Word declares that if

You can believe (have the God-kind of faith) all things are possible to him that believeth…  (Mark 9).

When you got saved, God made a Divine Deposit in you.  Your body became the Temple of the Holy Ghost.  You are no longer your own because you were “bought with a price…”

We are to glorify God with our bodies.  We are Born Again to release the Power of God into the earth.

People are becoming more and more aware of their need for God.  As politics fail, as economics fail, as education fails, as religion fails, our need for a viable and real and powerful connection with God is more and more apparent.

God is calling us to be channels of His Power in the earth.  We are the restraining force holding back all the relentless powers of darkness that are poised to overthrow every kingdom and nation.

Why is it that atrocities such as those that are presently happening in parts of our world are not happening here in America?  Because we are called to be the platform from which God will release His Power into the earth and throughout the earth.  With all our shortfalls and shortcomings, this nation is still the One Nation on this planet that God has sovereignly raised up to pour His Power into the Human Race.
