Word for Today:  April 15

If we had no Living Lord we would have no Miracle Power.  If Jesus was not alive, the Gospel would have no power.  The ONE THING DIFFERENT about our MESSAGE is that it CHANGES LIVES!  It is more than philosophy and more than religion.  It is more than literature and more than history.  It is LIFE and it is POWER and RESTORATION.

The RESURRECTION of JESUS CHRIST was and is the greatest RELEASE of GOD’S POWER in the history of all creation.

The RESURRECTION of JESUS from the Dead is the GREATEST EVENT that ever TOOK PLACE.  Nothing compares with it and nothing ever will.  It is the GREATEST and MOST GLORIOUS WORK that GOD the FATHER ever did.  It surpasses Creation.  It surpasses God’s dealing with men in the Old Testament.  It is the greatest MIRACLE of ALL TIME.  Nothing man has ever done can compare with the Resurrection of Jesus from the Dead.  All the achievements of men fade and become unimportant when compared with the RESURRECTION of JESUS CHRIST.

Paul says, without the Resurrection of Jesus:  (1) All our preaching is in vain  (2) our Faith is powerless and fruitless  (3) we are all guilty of being liars… false witnesses… those who do not tell the truth  (4) our sins cannot be forgiven… we are still guilty and condemned  (5) there is NO HOPE for those who have died in the faith… in other words, there is no heaven  (6) we, of all men on earth, are the MOST MISERABLE  (I Cor 15:14-19)

Because JESUS LIVES:

  1. Don’t look for the LIVING among the dead
  2. Expect your needs to be met… according to His Riches in Glory
  3. Miracles Still Happen
  4. Stand Fast… Resist the devil… Refuse defeat…
  5. Live the Resurrection Life and expect Resurrection results

Do Something

  • Are you going to stay in the boat and sink in your storm?
  • Are you going to sit where you are until you die?
  • Are you going to withdraw from the challenge, give in to reason and unbelief and self-destruct?

Decide to do something!

Take the initiative.  Move off dead center.  Get up and go on.

There was a “great famine” in Samaria.  The enemy has surrounded the city and the inhabitants were starving.  Women were killing and cooking and eating their children.  They were slaying their beasts of burden and eating them.  The dung of birds and animals was collected for food.  The situation was desperate.  Horrific.

Four lepers were sitting at the gate to the city of Samaria.  They could not go in.  They could not stay there.  They had one option.  Go into the camp of the enemy and plead for mercy.  They asked:  “Why sit we here until we die…”

And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to another, Why sit we here until we die?  2 Kings 7:3

Do you intend for “things” to always be as they are?  Are you convinced you are going to “die” if you remain like you are and where you are?  Are you ready for a Change for the Better?  When do you want this Change to happen?  Why not NOW?

God is looking for movers and shakers…. those who will determine to be doers of the Word and not hearers only.  God expects you to do something about the stuff that is happening to you.  He expects you to do something about what’s happening in the world.

He has given you the Power and the Authority to make things change.

Just Do It

Something is Stirring

Something is Stirring

There are many indications both visible and invisible that speak loudly of the Move of God in this hour.  Something is stirring.  There is a “sound of a going in the tops of  the mulberry trees” (II Sam 5:24).  There are urgings and hints and shadows of Something soon to be revealed to earth by God.  It is like stages in a mother’s pregnancy.  There is development and growth and signs that the New Life will soon be Birthed.  So it is in the earth today.

The world will be impacted by the most awesome and spectacular visitation of God the human race has ever experienced.  Sure, you say, I’ve heard this before.  Maybe you have, but you are now caught up in the count-down and NOTHING shall be able to prevent or hinder what God has planned for this hour.  The Countdown has begun and there is no stopping it now!   The eternal purpose of the Eternal God will break forth and the Church will come into its Glory… the Same Glory that Jesus shared with the Father in the beginning.

Many things will happen.  Some will be pleasant, other may be painful.  None can be ignored.   The Lord God who Reigns will see to it that His Church is pure and holy and without spot or wrinkle.  This process may be painful.  On the other hand, the Lord God who Reigns will also immerse His Church in baptisms of Power and Glory and Excellence and Perfection.  Waves of anointings will flow.  New Mantles of Anointings will rise.  Men and women and young people and children will minister in powerful Spiritual Gifts that will shock the unbelieving world and the Laodicean church.

What God is saying today, He said to prophets and apostles in the past.  He said it, but many resisted it and refused to believe it.  Others wondered what He meant.  Some did not understand.  Today, that message and that Prophetic Word is clear and uncluttered.  Haggai, God’s Prophet, to a lethargic and complacent company of Jews, was sent to speak the Word of the Lord regarding Restoration.  Israel had just been released from captivity, and had returned to their beloved Jerusalem.  Haggai spoke God’s Message of restoration and encouragement to awaken the conscience and stimulate the enthusiasm of his people to Rebuild and Restore the Temple.  This is a type of the Prophetic Message today regarding the Restoration of the crippled, traditionalized, man-made Church.    Notice what Haggai said:

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;  And I will shake all nations…  Hag 2:6-7

First, he said, “in a little while” God will shake the heavens and the earth and the sea and the dry land.    How long is a “little while”?  I don’t really know.  But I declare that in God’s “little while” there will be some shaking and quaking. Those things that seem so fixed and stable and secure will be jarred to their foundations and men will know that it is God Who is doing the shaking.  We are in that season known as “God’s little while.”  It is the time of preparation for manifestation.

God said that He would shake (1) the heavens, (2) the earth, (3) the sea, (4) the dry land and (5) all nations.  That shaking has now begun and everything than can be shaken will be shaken.  The Church will be shaken.   Denominations will be shaken.  Preachers will be shaken.  Ministries will be shaken.  Believers will be shaken.    The world system (cosmos) will be shaken.  Sinners and unbelievers will be shaken.  Fear and Terror will fall on their hearts and they will run (not walk, but RUN) by the millions into the safe haven of the Turned-on, Fire-filled Church.  The whole earth will be made to Know that God is God!

Second, there will be Fresh and New Mantles of Anointing flowing.  God’s Power will be revealed in the Church.  His Glory will sweep through the Church and His Presence will be awesome.  It will be as it was in the days of Solomon… the priests and the servants of the Lord will not be able to stand by reason of the cloud for the Glory of the Lord will fill the House of God (2 Chron 5:14).  New streams of Anointings will flow.  Men will stand boldly to declare “thus saith the Lord” and will not fear the opposition of men or the reproach of the world.  Healing streams.  Delivering streams.  Streams of strength and streams of encouragement.  Streams of revelation and streams of unction to preach and speak in behalf of God.

Great anointings that will shake cities and towns and villages and communities… all flowing through men and women and children who are yielded to God.  Prophetic anointings will operate and discerning anointings will operate.  It will be as pure and powerful as that Anointing Peter had when he saw the sin of Ananias and Sapphira.  Great and awesome anointings of power and supernatural abilities, healings, and faith, and miracles… just like it was in the Book of Acts, will be the atmosphere and the climate of the Restored Church.  Now, we see through a glass “darkly” but soon we will see as God sees!  Hallelujah!!

Third, out of the shaking and the anointing will come a season of Repentance and Cleansing.  Men will be convicted of sin.  Sin will be revealed.  Great fear will come on them all just as on the day of Pentecost.  Fear (respect) for God and His servants will prevail.    Men will have regard for the Word the prophet/preacher delivers.  The church will no longer be taken lightly and the preacher will no longer be the butt of jokes and the subject of slander.  The Church will rise to new heights of respectability and accountability and integrity.  Sin will not go undetected.  There will be no “secret sin” but it will be revealed and repented of.  When sin is dealt with, the anointing will flow unimpaired.

Quality and not quantity will be the norm of the Church.  Bigger is not always better.   The size and seating capacity of the Church auditorium is no measure of Spiritual success or the favor of God.  How clean are we?  How pure are we?  How loving are we?  How unforgiving are we?  How kind are we?  How careful are we to always speak words of Life and how determined are we to refuse words of death?  How understanding are we?  How respectful of the Men of God and the Ministers of God are we?  The violence of the shaking and the intensity of the anointing will produce Repentance and Cleansing in the Church.  Revival comes out of Repentance.  The fundamental message of the Prophet is:  “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!”

Finally, the Re-Born Church will be composed of a company of Committed Believers.  The Army of God will be made up of Champions and mighty warriors.  No weaklings.  No cowards.  No flakes and no freaks.  Committed Men and Committed Women.  God is bringing in His First String.  The bench-warming and water-boy days are over.   God is producing Quality in the Body of Christ.  Like the Olympic Games, the Re-Born Church will place the Best, the Strongest, the most highly Disciplined and Trained champions on the front lines and we will Go for the Gold.  The bronze is OK and the silver is good, but we will be satisfied with nothing short of the Gold for God!!   No grumbling and no complaining.  No fault-finding and no self-pity.  No fruitless efforts and no mud-slinging.  Only the Best for God will do.  Commitment is the name of the game.  Commitment is produced out of Love of and Respect for the Church of the Living God.

Haggai declared that the “Glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former…”  Now, that is really exciting!  This is the Re-Born, Restored Church.  This is the Revived Church.  This is the Church that is on the way!

Hallelujah!!

Never give in.

Never give in to fear.  Never give in to discouragement.  Never be moved by facts or consequences or obstacles or impossibilities.  The God in you is bigger than man, the devil, any circumstance, any system, any movement, any government, any economy, any power…. nothing shall by any means harm you… when you go in the Name of the Lord God of Israel.  Don’t be afraid.

God was with Moses.  God was with Joshua.  God was with the Apostle Paul and all the leaders of the New Testament Church.  God is with us…  Even our enemies shall be made to be at peace with us.  God in us will strike terror in the hearts of those who resist God and resist God’s Word.  Don’t be afraid.

You have nothing to fear.  You have nothing to be afraid of.  God is with you.  God is in you.  His Power is working mightily through you.  Be courageous.  Be strong.  Be fearless.  Don’t be dismayed.  Don’t be discouraged.  Be aggressive.  Be on the attack.

The only way you can lose is if God loses…. and God never loses.  He never has and He never will.

Neither will YOU if you never give in

Season of Glory

Season of Glory

What God began, He continues to do.  So the story of one church is really a story about the faithfulness of God.  The One Thing that held the ship steady through all those stormy days was the absolute and total conviction that the Principles set forth in the Word of God would work today just as they did throughout history past.  I came bursting out of Seminary with a renewed conviction that the Bible was indeed the Infallible Word of God and that it was Alive and Full of Power.   My faith had been challenged on several fronts during the days of my graduate studies, and those challenges proved to be a catalyst that forged my determination to Believe God… and to Trust God no matter what.  There were several “religious camps” that emerged in evangelical Christianity during those years that sort of separated various churches and denominations into identifiable groups.

There were the “modernists” or the liberals (the “left wingers”) who were not totally convinced about the trustworthiness of every word in the Bible.  Perhaps some of it, but not all of it.  They were on track as far as the basics of evangelical beliefs were concerned, but they interpreted portions of the Bible as mythical or symbolic.  This camp was most popular with many large traditional churches.  And those churches were found in a cross section of the major protestant denominations.  The Modernist message was prevalent among many intellectual laymen, college and seminary professors, and “high church” theologians.  And it was this “doctrine” that became anathema to the fundamentalists.

Then there were the “fundamentalists” or the conservatives (the “right wingers”) who accepted the Word of God as literal and inerrant.   They were characterized by their emphasis on evangelism and soul-winning.  I would estimate that the majority of evangelical churches (especially in the Bible Belt) were in this camp.  Their preaching and teaching was Bible Centered and they were very strong in their stand against worldliness and sin.  Their message was a primarily a message that emphasized Salvation and their “success” was usually measured by the annual number of conversions they recorded and the number people who attended their Sunday services each week.  They were openly outspoken concerning their stand against modernism and modernists.

The Pentecostal or “Full Gospel” churches were usually considered to be “off the page” as far as the above two groups were concerned.  They were often considered in gross error concerning their interpretation of the Scriptures regarding the work of the Holy Spirit.  Especially concerning speaking in “other tongues.”  They had strong convictions (and expectations) concerning women’s hair styles, women’s make up and women’s dress codes.  This group was generally seen as a group that appealed to the less educated and the less prosperous class of evangelical society.

All of the above were active during the season of change that came to Lott Road Baptist Church.  I could not comfortably identify with the modernists or the Pentecostals.  I fit much better in the fundamental category.  And it was my firm conviction concerning the Absolute Reliability of the Word of God that caused me to reconsider my fundamentalist beliefs when the Charismatic Movement emerged.

When I saw what the Bible said concerning the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the Gifts of the Spirit listed in 1Corinthians 12, I could not deny the hard facts listed there.  I tried to interpret them in every way that would eliminate the “Tongues” part, but could not justify my prejudiced opinion.  I was “trapped” by my conviction that the Word of God was inerrant, factual and true.  This brought about my willingness to upgrade my Baptist Theology to include and embrace the reality of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit…. With the evidence of speaking in tongues.

The speed with which this “new” movement spread was incredible.  The entire religious scene across the country and the world was changing and changing rapidly.    Reports were coming from all sectors of our society concerning signs, wonders and miracles taking place in the most unexpected places.  In the large metropolitan churches, in the small country churches and especially on the mission fields of the world.  Home prayer meetings were springing up.  Bible seminars were being scheduled.  Conferences and conventions were taking place and literally thousands were being exposed to this wonderful Season of God’s Glory.   Great Healing Crusades were being held in tents and theaters and sports arenas.  Many of these moments of Glory were televised.    Remember Oral Roberts?  Thousands crowed into these crusades and Television Evangelists began to come into our homes during evening network prime time.  This surge of God’s Visitation gave birth to Christian Television stations and networks.   Now this phenomenal Spiritual Awakening was being broadcast across the United States as well as Europe and Asia and South America… the posture of “religion” was changing and Life was emerging in the New Testament Church once again.  “Full Gospel” publishing houses were established and books and magazines and pamphlets were being printed by the millions. They were finding their way into the churches and homes and hearts of those seeking to Know God Better.  During this time it was almost “acceptable” for one to Speak in Tongues.  The stigma attached to the old line Pentecostal denominations was fading and this New Wave of God’s Visitation was being promoted and accepted by the majority of those in the Christian community.  We suddenly found ourselves in a Season of Glory.

How blessed we all were to be allowed this great privilege!   And how blessed I was to find myself in an environment and in  a  place and among a people where God was allowed the liberty and the freedom to accomplish His Will.  As we gently and carefully walked through those days of change and adjustment and transformation, God led us step by step.  Unusual things began to happen.  Things that are unexplainable apart from a sovereign move of the Holy Spirit.  Since we were in on the “beginning” there were few precedents for us to analyze and fewer pastors to for us to consult.  Not much had been written about these things and we were hard pressed to find any “directions” or “instructions” concerning what to do or where to go.  We would receive cassette tapes from various meetings across the land.  The Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International had meetings and conventions in the larger cities.  We could get some publications from them and some recordings of awesome testimonies.    God began to raise up anointed preachers and teachers and then send them our way.   They came and validated my testimony and the course we were charting for the Church in Mobile.

Some of the early pioneers of the Charismatic Movement who came to Lott Road Baptist Church included the following:

John Osteen from Lakewood church in Houston, Texas.

A.S. Worley from Walhalla, South Carolina.

Kenneth Hagan, Jr.  from Tulsa.

Marilyn Hickey from Denver.

Marianne Sitton from Hamilton, Montana.

R.W. Shambach from his large revival tent somewhere in the USA.

Clarence Matheny from Hattiesburg, Ms.

Norvelle Hayes from Cleveland, Tenn.

“Holy” Hubert from Berkley, Ca.

Dave Duell from Denver, Co.

Andy Wommack from Colorado Springs, Co.

Danny Ost from Mexico City.

The Cameron Family from Scotland.

Richard Carter, a prophet, from Atlanta, Ga.

Lester Sumrall from LESA in Indiana.

Dr. Bill Basansky from ORU in Tulsa, Ok.

Roy Stockstill from Bethany Church in Baton Rouge, La.

And many, many others….

During this time, we were literally inundated with Truth from the Word of God.   As a result of the intense interest in hearing the Word, we began multiple church services during the week.  There were two services on Sunday Morning.  And two services on Sunday Evening.  There was a Saturday evening prayer service.  Then we had a teaching service at the church on Tuesday evening and on Thursday evening.  There were Monday evening home prayer meetings scheduled throughout the community and city.  Several times a year, we were taking bus loads of hungry folks to Bible Conferences being held in other cities.  Some as far away as Dallas, Texas.  Then we took numbers of our folks on short term mission trips into Mexico to establish churches and hold crusades.  We were busy.   And we were growing.  And we were excited.

Our staff grew throughout this Season of Glory.  Scott and Susan Howard, former students of mine when I taught at Liberty Bible College in Pensacola, Florida came as our Associate Pastor, and Worship leader.  He was also in charge of our Youth Department.  Our music began to take on new directions.  We had transitioned from the “Baptist” hymnal to the “Modern” hymnal (which had more lively songs and hymns) and from the Modern Hymnal to the soft cover “Stamps Baxter” song books.  These were full of Southern Gospel songs usually favored by the many traveling Quartets that hung on the edge of Blue Grass Gospel.

Then the Bible Choruses began to emerge.  It seems they were born in due season from the spontaneous worship and praise that was so indicative of the Charismatic Movement.  We printed small booklets with the words to these choruses and often projected them on a large screen with an overhead projector.  The praise was electric and the worship was awesome.  There was singing “in the Spirit” and chanting and clapping and shouting and rejoicing.  And, yes, dancing accompanied much of our praise time.  As a matter of fact, Susan Howard became the leader of a ballet-type dance group that took the stage during the preliminary praise and worship time on Sundays.  This was a real “eye opener” for a former Baptist Church to have choreographed dance as a part of the Worship and Praise ministry… but it was wonderful.  And it was real.  And it was contagious.

Gene Brack from Hattiesburg, Mississippi  was added to our staff during this time.  Gene was on the Dramatic Arts staff at William Carey College, now a University,  (my Alma Mater) and He became Pastor of our dramatic arts department. He also became one of our Bible Teachers.   Under his direction, Lott Road Church began a series of dramatic productions…. Some of which Gene wrote.  They were presented at the church during certain seasons of the year…. Especially during Easter.  This, as far as I have been able to determine, was one of the “firsts” that we were privileged to pioneer at Lott Road Church.  Those productions were so powerful and profound and anointed that many were Born Again at the conclusion of the each presentation.  Some of those who were saved are now missionaries or have served as missionaries in various fields of service.    Gene ministered to the students at Faith Academy (our church school) during chapel for several years with dramatic productions he wrote and directed.  Again, numerous conversions took place in the school population.

As we continued to grow, it became apparent that we needed more space.  During the beginnings of this Movement, we had to keep taking out walls and adding more pews to accommodate the crowds that came to the meetings.

We had already moved from one auditorium into another at the Lott Road site and were still out of room.   There was limited parking and we were landlocked with no way of acquiring more acreage.  At this time, Marianne Sitton was ministering in one of our Bible Conferences.  She was known for and respected for her prophetic preaching.  When she witnessed our dilemma she prophesied to us that it was time for us to move.  Relocate.  Find more room.  Prepare for increase.  From that point we were led to the one-hundred acres we purchased and now occupy on the west side of Mobile.  We moved the church to the new site in 1985 and then moved Faith Academy two years later.  This relocation was definitely ordered by God and it was this assurance that kept us pressing through during the many trials that accompanied this transition.

To have been privileged to minister to and pastor one church for over 47 years is almost as miraculous as the transition that took place both geographically and spiritually.  During this span of time, we raised our family and maintained our dependence on God and our trust in His faithfulness.  But as with all things, change will come.   Through the years we were all eye witnesses to the powerful provision of God in times of great need and impossibilities.  He always was there when we needed Him.  Even in times of unimaginable financial pressures and foreclosure threats from banks and lending institutions.   In times of decrease as well as times of increase.  God was always there.  Leading us ultimately to a debt-free campus.

When we came to Mobile in 1962, God was here.  We were acutely aware of His Presence as we began our life journey at Lott Road Baptist Church.  God simply allowed us to join with Him in this Great Adventure.  And over the years we have had the awesome privilege of having hundreds and hundreds of others come along on this pilgrimage.  Through all the years of transition and transformation God has been with us.  He has proven His faithfulness time and time again.

In 2009, my tenure as senior pastor was completed.  Our course has been run.  And we, too, are in transition.   And the mantle of leadership has been passed on to Scott and Susan Howard.   They are anointed and they are capable.  They were as definitely called to this place as were Pat and I.  God has great plans for the future.  That is why there will be additional Seasons of Glory in store for this sacred place.  And those who choose to join this Great Adventure will be assured of experiencing God and Knowing God in greater depth and deeper passion.

To God be the Glory.

Begin today with a positive attitude.

Never think weakness or failure.  Believe right and think right.  Your attitude will determine the condition of your faith.   The “artificial horizon” attitude indicator in an aircraft will tell the pilot what attitude the plane is in as it flies through the air.

Your attitude will indicate your thinking, your seeing, your saying and your doing.  Attitude is your present position.  Where are you now?  What is your attitude today?  How are you thinking?  What are you saying?  What are you expecting?

To fix damaged faith, reset your attitude to agree with the Word of God.  And the Will of God.  Flow in the direction of God’s leading.  Be sensitive to the Voice of the Holy Spirit.  Be deaf to the cries of the carnal man and to the vision of the natural eye.  Be encouraging.  Be encouraged.

See the best, talk the best, think the best and expect the best.  Be positive.

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.  Mark 11:22

“Have the Faith of God.”  You have the same kind of Faith that God has.  Faith is a Divine Attribute of God.  When you and I got Born Again, we received an impartation of the very Nature and Character of God into our Recreated Human Spirit.  When we were Regenerated, we were “RE-GENED…”  God Supernaturally changed and altered the Genetic Mapping of our human nature.  He “imputed” His Faith into us.  NOW… we have the same kind of Faith God has.

Just as you received certain biological and genetic characteristics from your earthly parents at the time of your conception and birth, you also received certain Spiritual and Supernatural characteristics from your Heavenly Father at the time of your Spiritual Birth.  You look like your parents.  You have personal and emotional characteristics like your parents.  The color of your eyes.  The color of your hair.  Your complexion.    Your size.  The way you walk.  The way you are physically composed.

All these were built into you… mapped by the genetic structures of your parents… and passed on to you at the time of your physical birth.  If all these intricate and miraculous PHYSICAL attributes were placed in you when you were born, the wonderful supernatural SPIRITUAL characteristics of God Himself likewise were imputed into your recreated human spirit at the time of your Spiritual Birth.

We are partakers of His divine nature…  (2 pet 1:4)

The faith of God.

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.  (Have the faith of God)  Mark 11:22

If the faith of God is the creative force behind all creation, (and it most certainly is) and if you and I have the same kind of faith, (and we most certainly do) then we have access to the most awesome force known in the universe.

  • Faith is substance.
  • Faith makes.
  • Faith creates.
  • Faith moves things. Like mountains.  Faith moves sickness.  Faith moves problems.  Faith moves poverty.  Faith moves circumstances.
  • Faith gets out of the boat and walks on water.
  • Faith makes something out of nothing.

The remarkable and almost unbelievable truth is that God has given you a determined amount of His Faith. (Rom 12:3)   What have you done with it?  What are you doing with it?  What do you intend to do with it?  What will you do with it RIGHT NOW?  Use it or lose it.  Put it in motion or let it sit there.  Launch out or stay in your safe, comfortable, unthreatened place.

Faith is ACTION.  If it is not Moving, it is not really FAITH.  It may be in your head, but you need to get it out of your head and into your heart and out of your heart and into your hands and feet.  You have it.  God gave it to you.  It is the same kind He has.  It has power to create.

The same kind of faith.

We having the same spirit of faith… 2Cor. 4:13

Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith… 2Pet. 1:1

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.   Ro 12:3

Paul says “your faith is just like mine.”  Peter says “your faith is just like mine.”  The “measure” of faith God gave you is just like theirs.    Some think their measure is less than others.  Not so.  Did God give the same AMOUNT to every man?  YES.  Because God is no respecter of persons.  He gave you the same amount (measure) He gave the Apostle Paul, Simon Peter, John and all the rest of His disciples.

How much is a “measure”?  Enough.  What is the greatest natural miracle in the world?  Physical birth.  The conception, creation and birth of a human being is the greatest miracle that can ever occur in the natural world. What is the greatest miracle in the Spiritual World?  Of all the Spiritual Miracles we know of the New Birth is, without doubt, the greatest.

If the Measure of Faith was enough for the Greatest Miracle, (and it was), then, it is enough for anything else.  Healing.  Deliverance.  Salvation.  Restoration.  Prosperity.

If you had enough faith to get Born Again, then you have enough Faith for anything else.

What is the truth about FAITH?

Probably nothing I have ever taught (except the Baptism of the Holy Spirit) has caused more persecution than what I have taught about faith.  It is so good, people have a hard time believing it.

Who hath believed our report?  Isa 53:1

What I learned about Faith has been one of the most liberating truths I have ever received.  The Revelation God gave me concerning Faith has been the mainstay of my life and ministry for more than a half century.

Over forty years ago (It’s 2018 as I write this), God began to speak to me about Faith.  As I received this revelation, I began to teach this truth and to lead the church of which I was pastor in the actual implementation of a Ministry that operated totally by Faith.

Not only were we blessed with a mighty increase, but our people moved into a new dimension of success and victory as they began to live and function by faith.  We had fewer people get sick.  We had more people move into prosperity.  We saw better kids, better jobs, better marriages, and better relationships.  A new wave of encouragement and determination swept through our congregation.  We had fewer deaths and fewer funerals.  As a matter of fact, we fenced off half of the old Church Cemetery and turned it into a parking lot… we needed more places to park cars than to bury people.

God challenged me (and my wife) to lead our family in living by faith.  God called us to set the example and to prove to everybody that He is able to supply every need… and to do so abundantly and supernaturally.  This continues to be a Faith ministry.  God has never failed us.  And He never will.

God honors Faith.  Faith pleases God.

Faith works
